Good Afternoon Readers,
May’s newsletter is now out and available! For those of you who haven’t signed up yet and are interested in reading it please do so before the end of the month if you want to get that issue. But the real reason why I am posting this it to say... Thank you so much for those of you that have reached out and told me about your experience reading my first novel Unforeseen. I am truly honored by your responses! I love to hear how you guys were living in this book – getting attached to the characters, traveling through the journey with them. It’s incredible! It meant a lot to know that you couldn’t put it down, you had to know what happened next. And then on top of that the fact that you want to know what happens next! It means so much to me, thank you so much! I appreciate you all and I am incredibly grateful! Stay safe out there everyone! Hello Readers,
I met a vendor today who was told I had just published my first novel. And I had to share this story with you… WARNING: What I am about to say may bring you to tears. He told me he is in the stages of writing his own book but at present he decided to step away from it for a short time. During our conversation he said hearing my success story was inspiring to him. It gave him hope that he could finish his too, just as I did mine. By the end of our discussion, he had a pep-in-his-step to get going again. A motivation that had regrown right before my very eyes. I am honored to hear that I inspired someone to pick up where they left off. If I had the privilege to be able to inspire even one person everyday to go after their dream and see it through – to me – that would be considered a great accomplishment. Stay safe out there everyone and as always, I appreciate ya! 😊 Good Evening Readers,
Let us talk about Saturday for a second… My husband had to get a spray tan for reasons we aren’t going to discuss and so being the caring wife that I am, I tried to help prevent him from sweating as much as I could, which entailed making sure to run the fan throughout the night. When I woke up the next morning the lower part of my right leg had a huge spray tan circle on it. It ran the length of my knee cap down to my ankle. You can’t make this up…literally. BUT it was not only there, it somehow appeared on my forearm and under my cheek of my buns? I don’t understand honestly. I am just trying to catch some zzz’s at night and I wake up to a tanning session. So, during the day we travel to this hotel. A really nice hotel that obviously doesn’t run the vacuum in their lobby. Did I mention they are incredibly well known? It wasn’t a good look for them. I wasn’t impressed. Upon entry, we both rush off to the bathroom like two people who haven’t used a toilet in ages. Since it was early in the morning there was luckily no one in there. And usually, mornings mean clean restrooms…yep… I head to the biggest stall because I had two bigger bags with me and when I get in there, I see that there is no toilet paper. I immediately mumble, “Oh good that’s what I was hoping for…” Moving into the next stall over there is no hook to hang your items on…so I set my bags down on the floor and get ready to do my stuff when I find that the door doesn’t close and since it doesn’t close it doesn’t lock. At this point since stall number one and two were already winner there was no reason to believe stall number three would be any better. So, I did the most adult thing…kept one foot propped up against the door to hold it shut while pulling a charley horse in my leg. Sunday = Funday! My first self-published novel Unforeseen is now available on Amazon. There are links not only on the book page but also on the Unforeseen page in the drop-down menu! It is free for those of you with a Kindle Unlimited membership! I will be running some promotions in the future so please stay tuned for that as well! Thanks Everyone for your continued support it means the world! Stay safe out there and as always I appreciate ya! :) |
