Hey Everyone!
Yesterday morning when I woke, I felt like something burst inside of me I had so much pain coming from places I didn’t know I could feel pain Just relentless shooting pain My chest burned My heart rate slowed Everything from my head down to my toes turned ghostly white I shook uncontrollably as if I as having a seizure And there I was slumped against the wall while being perched on the toilet All the energy draining from my body A feeling came over me like I was going to pass out It took everything out of me to get from the toilet to the floor One particular part of Natalie's song played through my mind I couldn't call out for help - I could barely breathe - I could barely function I think that cyst on my ovary finally burst after months and months of its presence Seemingly growing a little more in size each time I went to the doctors This time I did something different from the last time one burst - I kept the heating pad on - took Tylenol and did not do a lot of bending Today I'm sore but better WOW what an experience In other news If I didn't know better, I would've thought I saw one of Santa's reindeer today on the way home. There was a huge buck that came running down off the hillside so fast it looked like his feet weren't even touching the ground! And the older man driving in front of me didn't even see him it all happened so fast. And I must say that his fur coat blended in with the fall surroundings. But he came sprinting across the road and pretty much flew over the man's hood - narrowly escaping getting hit! IT. WAS. CRAZY. Please be careful driving out there folks as the deer population is on the move around this time of year! Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! WHAT A DAY!
It began with my alarm going off at almost 4AM and it ended with me pulling in the driveway at 7PM! Such a long day - holy crap! I don't want to repeat that on the daily LOL! I also just felt weird driving home - it was dark, windy, cold and there was just such a weird feeling in the air. Like something familiar but not. The smell of Fall hung in the air per the usual - the leaves were blowing all over the place. I don't know why but I do get a twitch of excitement when I am driving up to a patch of leaves all over the road - I enjoy stepping on the gas to fly through them so that I catapult them into the air so that I can watch them kick up and fly. It's the equivalent of watching a child run into a group of birds to scare them and make them fly away. Enjoy those leaves - watching them fall, seeing the colors, all of it - enjoy it while it lasts. Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! Daddy,
Thank you for being the best father I could ever ask for && I'm so glad the steak dinner was a success tonight LOL! That McCormick Steak seasoning does wonders! :) I love you <3 Saw Halloween Ends last night!
The movie was NOT what I expected but it did live up to the Halloween expectations. I always wish it lasts longer than what it does when I'm watching a movie that I'm really into. If you pay close attention you'll see little tie ins from previous ones even from the original. Love those dang Halloween movies!! <3 In other news the new book I am working on is up to seven chapters about 10,000 words. I'm not planning on releasing what genre it is right now until I decide whether this is the one I am working towards publishing next. It's either this one or the horror novel. The horror novel is going to be a work in progress though as I wrote it awhile ago and rereading it now it has many good parts but it needs some work maybe not a complete overhaul but a revamp. This ones about 10 chapters in still as I haven't tried to further it since it needs tweaking. Just know that the other novel is a genre I've never done before - so that excludes fantasy, crime, thriller, suspense, and romance. What could be next I wonder? ;) Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! Just watched a trailer for Halloween Ends that comes out on Friday!!
At first I thought it was an early release of it until I noticed it was ending tomorrow...and it was only 2 mins and 30 seconds long LOL! What a tease but... OMG! I can't wait!! I absolutely love these movies and I can't imagine it being over, over. Fri-yay can't come soon enough <3 Who else is ready??! In other news started watching the original IT by Stephen King which I had sworn off since I was little. Pennywise always scared the crap out of me. They did a heck of a job with the face, the make-up, just everything about him is scary. Andddd if you haven't watched the new ones that they just remade - I would highly recommend them - they are VERY good in my opinion. Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! I absolutely love the Fall and the Spring but not the allergies that come with it LOL.
Whenever it reaches a certain day of the year my body decides, "Okay so your nose with run for an hour and you'll blow your nose every few minutes for two hours." I swear I've been blowing my nose since 7:30 this morning LOL! In other news: Please be on the lookout for deer - it's that time of year again where they are moving now more than ever and with hunting season coming up - keep those eyes peeled. I almost hit a mama and then literally seconds later almost hit her baby. The mama just came right out in front of me like they always do to us - but the baby was partway across the road already so I slowed way down to be cautious not to spook her...but instead she dead stops in the middle of the road and decides to turn back and come the way I'm traveling. I was like, "No, no, no, no, no, no." And then before my driver side headlight could reach her she simply looked at me cocked her head and turned back to follow mama into the woods. PHEW! I pictured myself being like Melissa McCarthy in the movie Tammy - I would've jumped out of the car and started blowing on the deer's nose to try to give it mouth to mouth like Tammy was doing with the buck she hit. Except in my case it was 5 o'clock in the morning - in the pitch dark - and I, myself would've probably become road kill. So yeah - please be careful! You guys! I can't believe we are in October already! Where did the year go? Before long you'll be stuffing your bellies with a hot Thanksgiving meal and hiding presents under the Christmas tree. It's wild to me - each year goes quicker and quicker I feel. Well stay warm out there - it's starting to get a little chillier each day. "I said brr! It's cold in here! There must be some Clovers in the atmosphere! I said oh-ee-oh-ee-oh ice, ice, ice!" LMAO! In book world: I am about 8 chapters in on something really special I have been working on...it's very different than what I am used to writing but it's something I have thought about doing for a while now. And also I pleased to announce that I began drafting some ideas for book #3 in the Unforeseen family and how it'll all end. It was so strange because once I ended Foreseen I was like "okay, I'm going to take a break from the mafia world and put my energy into something else." Then I spent a couple days writing these 8 chapters of this other project. And before I knew it I was pulling out my notebook and jotting down all the notes that had come to me for the rest of the trilogy. Stay safe and as always, I appreciate ya! This is probably my favorite time of year!
We get to celebrate horror movies because they have their own holiday 😊 I had been in the mood to watch Halloween. Not necessarily the first one – just one of them. It was the perfect October night for that. Dark, rainy, cold – and there I was... A bag of buttery Pop Secret popcorn and a blankey. I have always enjoyed the Halloween movies – all of them except the third one, “Season of the Witch” I think it was – where Michael Myers wasn’t in it at all and it was just about children putting one of three masks on that a factory created – and when they put them on they were in a trance. Spoiler alert! Sorry if you didn’t watch it – but in my opinion its not part of the Michael Myers empire. It’s just everything about October – they captured the music, the tone of settings, the season, and of course can you believe that a man says nothing, grunts nothing, and still captures attention all these years? It’s kind of fascinating really. Then after that was over, I chose between The Cave which I’ve over watched in these past x number of years or the 1979 version of Dracula directed by John Badham starring Frank Langella. I don’t know why I enjoy that one so much but I do. Honestly though I love Dracula movies I’ve probably watched almost of them to be honest – the good and the bad. Those and werewolf movies. But these films are good all year round not just reserved for October because of Halloween. Speaking of that…a new movie came out The Invitation (2022) that I saw. It was a Dracula themed movie with various twists and spins. I really enjoyed that one. Nathalie Emmanuel is perfect in this film! I couldn’t picture anyone else! Oh…and I heard the new Dahmer tv series by Netflix is really stirring the pot amongst people – I have really looked into it yet but I just heard there’s been a lot of opinionated activity both good and bad. Stay safe && as always, I appreciate ya! Today is the day I think of when I picture Fall - rainy, windy, accompanied by something lovely in the crisp air
The pitter patter of the rain hitting your window to wake you Watching the wind pick up as the trees and leaves dance together Beautiful colors of orange, yellow, and red The slightly gloomy look in the air While the chill of the temperature runs down your back And although I love this time of year probably more than any other - I still manage to get sick during this time when the weather changes I just wanted to take a moment to say (I think I've said this before months ago but) it's days this when watching the news is enough to make me cry - war, fires, floods. It's just terribly sad. I'm praying for all those lives in Florida impacted from Hurricane Ian. Can you imagine losing your home, your family members, and your belongings? Everything is just gone. And those who didn't lose their shelters are left without power and water while trying to deal with flooding for days and days on end. You're in my thoughts and prayers Floridians </3 There's something about starting a new book that gets me so excited. It's like Christmas finally arriving and opening a new gift that you've been eyeing up for months under the tree. The wait is finally over. That taunting comes to an end. And just like that it's time to start at the beginning once more. That twinge comes usually when I'm setting it up for the first time followed by various spurts throughout. Just seeing some kind of words that signifies the first chapter makes me smile a little bit. EKKK! Stay dry and warm out there in the coming days and months ahead - try not to catch a cold! Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! |
