​Good Evening Readers,
 
This coming week I am will be on vacation and I am super excited to finally have some time off.
 
It has been a long year so far and I know that most of us are feeling it!
 
It’s as if last year never ended it just carried right into this one.
 
I am hoping to do some adventuring, capturing some more of that inspiration that I crave during my time away!
 
I am excited to tell you that out of all the ongoing book projects I have in my backlog I ended up coming up with a new idea.
 
It randomly hit me the day I had – what I call – my twenty-four-hour migraine.
 
It is a day filled with a relentless, painful pounding in my head. That leaves me sore the following day.
 
And while I lie awake for hours unable to sleep that’s when all I can do is think about anything and everything.
 
So instead of picking up one I am already in the process of I decided to switch gears and roll with this one once the idea came to me.
 
Honestly, I am excited about my decision to run with it. So far, I am a little over thirteen thousand words and just started chapter seven.  
 
My plan as of current is to have this out before the end of December. It will be a long road ahead but totally worth it.
 
So in between my time writing it I will be continuing to advertise Unforeseen.
 
OKAY I don’t want to bore you too much with not a lot of book talk sooo…I will end by saying…
 
I hate a potato problem at work…I starting eating my sweet potato and noticed that it had a darker outer ring, it wasn’t bright orange like the inside…but it didn’t smell or anything so I kept eating it!
 
Then as I got closer to the other end, I started noticing it was getting darker and it started to have a smell…at this point there is definitely something wrong – so I set it aside and notice blueish green fuzzy dots on the outer shell of the potato – signifying it was moldy!
 
DEAR GRAVY!!! Just ground me from potatoes already!! Ban me from them!! I have had some many potato problems that it is like a major red flag that I shouldn’t be eating them anymore or I need to just lay out.
 
AND to add the cherry on top of the cake there was a spider waiting patiently for me at my filing cabinet at work!

Welcome Readers,

Just wanted to tell you about my experience exiting my workplace today

So, I get in the car ready to go –

Feelin good it’s the end of the day –

We made it through Monday – and we are going home

You know all that…

As I am sitting there waiting for my husband, I get a text from him telling me he is going to be late due to a meeting

Okay no biggie I’ll just hang out…but it’s hot outside – so I have two options

1. Put the windows
2. Run the A/C

So, my first thought is I’m going to put the windows down while I wait because yes it was hot out but it did have a nice little breeze

But no sooner that I put the key in the car that a little voice inside my head told me not to put the windows down

Now usually I don’t listen to the voice and I wind up wishing that I had in the end so this time I did

I chose to put the air on cold with no A/C for the time being

Before long I see something out of the corner of my eye – looking to my right I see a spider running, not walking on the other side of my window – doing what spiders do – spreading a web as it did

What do I do next you ask? Well…I do what I normally do I follow it – to keep eyes on where it is going – which of course it disappears so I can’t see it anymore

In this moment I am full blown panicking – my mind is going wild telling me that it’s going to get inside the car and when we are driving home it’s going to get inside – on my side no doubt – and I will be freaking out, screaming and it will be a shat show, period the end

Since I didn’t want to open my door up in fear of letting it in what I did was I crawled over to the driver side seat and got out the opposite door – telling myself that it was safe

I am fast walking to the other side of the car to see where it was

And just like a spider…BOOM! IT WAS GONE!

I am super panicking now – breathing heavy, sweating, eyes searching over every corner of the car

After some time of looking over the passenger side of the car and seeing nothing I decide to walk back over to driver side – this was when I saw it pop out of the crease of the trunk lid

It took one look at me and went right back in and stayed in there for awhile

Then I stood there and waited staring at that same spot for a long time…nothing happened and he didn’t come out

Before too long I saw it pop out of the crease on the opposite side of the trunk lid

I walk over there and every direction I moved it moved

I moved to right it moved to, I moved to the left it moved to the left

It was hardcore watching me, staring me down

Let me tell you it was a very pretty looking spider – one of the prettiest I have ever seen and I have seen A LOT of spiders! (Don’t ask why because I have no idea)

It was a black spider with white spots all over it - if I could have gotten a picture of it I would have but it moved so fast!

When I came home, I was curious and decided to look it up it’s called a daring jumping spider – the one I saw looked more like a regal jumping spider

During my research I learned they are non-aggressive and don’t pose any serious danger to us

I also learned that they may bite in self-defense which can result in slight pain and small itchy bumps on your skin that can heal quickly

So basically, I came to the conclusion that when it was turning every direction, I was it was most likely getting ready to jump on me because it was mad and pretty much eat me ☹

I guess the lesson here folk’s is don’t provoke your enemy or you just might get what you don’t want in the first place

And the other lesson is to enjoy the beauty you find in the creatures around you even if you don’t fancy the creature

No matter how much I don’t like them, it’s quite a beautiful animal, I can appreciate it

Remember that every story can be a lesson if you choose to see it that way 😊

Bonjour Readers, 

So this random but not so random because it was a thought that hit me today...

Is it just me or does everyone experience what feels a time warp after you have come out of shopping?

I swear it happens every week that we go...specifically, to get groceries

I make a specific list of the items we need to get - we go in - stick to that list - maybe stray from it for one or two things

And it doesn't matter if there are a lot of people in there or not a lot 

It always take anywhere from an hour to two hours to get in and get out

I don't know how because when you are in there you feel like you're making good time

But then you get out and you see how long you've been in there for

It reminds me of Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief when they enter the Lotus Casino and they start eating the lotus flowers and then before you know it they have been in the Casino for five days

OHHH MYY GOODNESS!

You guys are incredible!!!

I just logged on this morning to check my best sellers rank on Amazon and I could barely believe my eyes

I just want to say that when I first started this journey the two genres I listed Unforeseen in was Romantic Suspense and Crime Thrillers

Over the course of coming up on two weeks I watched as my rank began to drop from the amount of people looking at it, buying it, downloading it

When I first started I was at 30,000 in ranking for both categories

As of this morning my numbers for Crime and Thrillers equaled #297 and Romantic Suspense equaled #906

This is all because of YOU! And I am so grateful and thankful!!

About a week before I published Unforeseen I was having major second doubts about doing it but now I am so glad I decided to take the leap!

If we keep going at this rate Unforeseen could reach in the top 100 chart for Crime Thrillers! I would literally cry!

Hey Readers!!

So how about I tried to make a video the other day. Should’ve been something super easy, right? Yeah, I got tongue tied within the first minute and I literally laughed out loud during the video and made fun of myself.

Inside though I thought…and this is why I am a writer and not a public speaker!

HAHAHAH! Be kind to yourselves everyone and laugh about your mistakes because if you don’t, you’ll end up crying about and it and it’s just not worth it! Life really is too short to not enjoy it.

I mean heck I feel like I blinked and now I’m almost thirty.

Some of you are probably like, Girlllll thirty ain’t nothin’

And I’m sure you are right 😊 Love you guys!

MOVING ON!

It is always nice to be surprised by something! Big or small!

My surprise was in the form of a spider…in my shoe…

Ladies and gentlemen that is what you get what you leave your shoes unattended and outside!

You have to know – in the back of your head – surely you must know that something bad is bound to happen. It is almost inevitable.

As much as I dislike spiders in the morning there was one hanging above me from the umbrella outside and it was basically coming down one me, you know? Little buggers always trying to sneak up on ya!

Well in my mind I thought this is my spider encounter today. Got it done and over with for the day and it wasn’t so bad…

BUT WRONG! ALL WRONG! NOTHING BUT WRONG!!

Imagine my surprise when I started to put my foot in my boot and saw the guy down inside there!!

For Pete’s sake! Who IS Pete anyway? He seems to be quite popular as we keep cursing his name!

My husband always like to joke that they have really taken a liking towards me because they always seem to migrate my way.

They never bother him.

At the house – they confront me. At work – they confront me. In the car – they confront me.

Nowhere is safe.

I should write a cheesy spider story. Like a real cheesy one.

Do you think anyone would read it?

Would you read it?

Heck I don’t even know if I would want to read it.

I already have some semi-goosebumps while I am writing this.
