Death by train

So today was a weird sort of morning...

I watched a car pass the exit ramp, stop on the turnpike and back right up into the median just to turn around. 

Such a shame since there didn't appear to be a mark on the car beforehand.

It was like a movie stunt gone wrong.

And God bless them for not being fazed enough to alarm them to get out and look at it - because that would've been my reaction right before being road kill by a tractor trailer.

The other thing that happened was when a line of us got to work we found the train to be sitting on the tracks stopping our passage.

So I park my car in another lot with some other people thinking oh we will just walk around it - the caboose will probably be right there.

WRONG!

Instead people were crawling under the train to get to the other side for work.

Eager much?? Look I'm all for going to work - but I am not desperate enough to climb under the train while it's on the train tracks.

My luck the train would've started to pull out while I was under there - or I would've hit my head on the part that hangs down at a peak - possibly rendering myself unconscious.

I didn't feel like dying today.

And certainly not by a train at least!

Death by train would not be my obvious choice of the day.
