Final Destination Flashback

Hey readers,

Were you ever doing something that reminded you of a scene from a movie and you found yourself instantly replaying it inside in your head?

Same here!

It happened to me today in fact while driving home...

I was following a large truck that happened to be a tree hauling service which was filled to the top with large pieces of tree (uncovered)

And at that moment as I stared at it in disbelief Final Destination 2 came to my mind where the girl in the suburban has a premonition of a horrifically fatal wreck on the highway involving several victims

As I was watching the trees pile over the bed of the truck I thought to myself...huh...what if one would come flying out and come plummeting through the windshield?

Of course in this situation there's not a lot you can do unless you are driving the six feet back or whatever it was when we took our driving test - car lengths away

But even still in that mere second your reflex would be to slam on the brakes and by then that is all you had time to do.

Sure you could try to swerve to miss it but your instincts wouldn't remind you to check your side mirror before doing so.

So yeah...this was the scene that played out in front of me today and this was the thought that was running rapidly through my brain - until we thankfully switched lanes and passed the truck.

Try and stay dry in this rain we are going to get - I already hear the firehalls sirens racing past our house to help mostly the victims of a car accident. I hope everyone's okay!! :(
