One. Two. Three. Exciting things happened to me today and I couldn't even tell you about it. Sure, you can talk to your parents, talk to your friends, even your other relatives but nothing compares to telling your person about it. But where is my person at? Not here. I don't see him anywhere. And there I was driving home alone on the turnpike at 4PM - thinking the same thoughts I always think - crying the same tears I always cry. Driving the same speed, I always drive. Hearing the same questions, they always ask. How are you? Such an interesting question at a time like this... Some days are better than others - is always the same response they get from me What else could I say? Should I lie? It's hard enough to smile and converse normally.
