Good evening readers,
I hear that Shanksville has the most wonderful memorial. It is a structure standing 93 feet in the air hanging 40 chimes resembling each of the victims from Flight 93’s plane crash. But these are not ordinary chimes that you would find hanging in the outsides of your house – they are extremely large that take a certain amount of wind to move them. When they do sing in the wind, they give off the most amazing music. I need to go up there and visit soon – I must confess I haven’t been up there since the incident occurred. Back when it was an empty field that they had roped off and off in the far away distance you could see yellow caution tape. In the middle of the road was a spot that had been marked with gravel and standing in the middle of it was a large structure where people hung pictures and notes – on the ground lay teddy bears and flowers. It sounds like a good road trip. In other news… Did you ever find a strange sort of satisfaction in doing a household clean up job – whether it be vacuuming, swiffering, dusting or washing dishes? Well, mine comes in the form of doing laundry. Yes, you read that correctly HAHA! Don’t tell my husband 😉 I don’t know why but it’s a small accomplish knowing that all the clothes are washed and put away even though soon the pile will begin to accumulate once more. Also We are three chapters into Unforeseen’s sequel! Who is excited?! I already have the name picked out and the cover art 😊 oooo – soooooo saucccccyyyyyy! The beginning may have your head spinning 😊 these new ideas came while I was trying to wrap up the novel I was working on and then got sidetracked so I dedicated a day or so to focus on the sequel and that was about it for the weekend work. Remember when you hit a rock – take some time away – spend so time with friends and loved ones – with your family – then come back and pick it up – I found that for me it’s not the best to try to be a trooper and pound through it – instead some of my best ideas have come when I have taken a step or two back to reset my mind. (Please note: this has been based off of my experience.) Later on, this week I should have those new photos up on the photo hobby page that I talked about earlier in the week. As well as I want to get September’s newsletter wrapped up and distributed this week as well. It seems “a laundry list of tasks” comes in more forms than just clothes. Side note: I really want to plant a sunflower or two at our house maybe next year...my mom's friend sent her pictures of what her sunflowers looked like and they were literally lovely! I would love to pull into my driveway and see that honestly. They just make me smile - they are so bright and happy. Have a great week everyone! Try to take it easy going into this Monday – we got 5 long days ahead of us! Stay safe out there && as always, I appreciate ya! Comments are closed.
